Manila Events Can Both Fulfil & Fill Your Calendar For 2010 & Beyond
manila events are special to promote. The Philippine Government's Official Tourism Site has compiled a nationwide Calendar of Festivities for May, 2010.
Another site with a Great Calendar of Events for May through June that includes the FLORES DE MAYO SA MAKATI held from May 8th-15th in Glorietta, Makati City. It is said to be "One of the biggest processions in Metro Manila participated in by young ladies representing the 33 barangays of Makati, tourism-related establishments, local and government offices corporations based in Makati."
Manila events for June include Former vice President Al Gore's visit to the SM Convention Center on June 8th. The 3,000 tickets have been sold out already.

Korea’s hottest idol Kim Hyun Joong is coming to Manila together with Korean boy group BEAST for a concert titled “K-Pop Meets P-Pop: Kim Hyun Joong and Beast Live in Manila” at the Araneta Coliseum on June 19, 7pm.
Ticket prices are available at P7,840 (Patron A), P6,720 (Patron B), P4,480 (Lower Box), P3,360 (Upper A), P1,680 (Upper B) and P784 (General Admission).
The outgoing President of the Philippines will be giving her Farewell Address on June 23rd.
The Quirino Grandstand is undergoing many structural design renovations and enhancements for the official Oath of Office by President Elect NoyNoy Aquino. This will be at High Noon on June 30th, preceded by a visit to the resting place of former President Cory Aquino and followed by a celebration at Quezon Circle.
I recently chanced upon this location near Star City in downtown Manila; the Manila Film Center. It is slightly north of the SM Mall of Asia and toward the Senate building.
"The building has also been the subject of controversies due to an accident that happened during the final stages of its construction in 1981."
According to Wikipedia and a reliable source here in Manila, "All of the women performing in the production of the amazing show are transgendered."
They host a cultural presentation that is geared toward the whole family. The entertainment show is an ongoing event and is presented at 8 p.m six nights a week under the heading, Amazing Show, and claims to be "The Philippines' Premiere Theatrical Family Show."
Be sure to check it out on your visit or stay in Manila. Ticket prices are 1,200 PhP with no children discounts that I am aware of.

"Carlo Orosa, Baustista’s manager, said the concert is special for Rain since this will be his last before he enters Korean Military Service as it compulsory for male Korean citizens.
