The Safety records of the major carriers are remarkably good though some of the conditions faced, such as wind shear, bird-strike avoidance and runway length do add to the already challenging environment of aviation. A quick check of the incident history can be seen by visiting the Manila-Ninoy Aquino International Airport profile courtesy of the Flight Safety Foundation.
